I have mine set at 20, 25, 30, 40 and 50yds and I find that I can bracket the target between 30 and 40 for 35 yds and between 40 and 50 yds for 45 yds. What do you have your pins set to?

Yeah a spot Hogg seven deadly pins app. on a Hogg It bar and frame. Ill only shoot 40(top 2 pins) at live animals but I enjoy long range practice. 75 and 80 yard shots in practice make a 30 yard shot look like its on top of you.

Mine are set at 24-32-40-48-56, in 8 yd increments, because it leaves me less room for error. I can make a mistake and use the 32 at 25 and still slide in a high kill. I recently picked up a rangefinder so that will help even more. I can't see setting my pins any farther apart while only shooting 270fps, and still being safe for a good kill on a deer.

What's the point in a 10yd pin???? How can you fit that in??? My bow is not extremely fast, and I would need to plant a 10yd pin right on top of my 24 if I really wanted one. My bow only varies about 2-2.5" from 0-24yds, 0yds is right on, 5 yds = 3/4" high, 10 = 1-1.25" high, 16 yds get me just about 2-2.5" high, and at 20yds about an 1" high and 24 is dead on again at around a 2" group.

Everyone should try walking their bow back from 5-50yds in 5 yd increments, and see what it really does, if they haven't already.
