Okay guys, I need a little help.

I have an 80lb Elite GTO with a 29" draw.

My arrows will be cut at 28" inches. They will have wraps and fletched with Blazers and using a 100 grain point.

I want to use the Axis FMJ 340's and the arrow will be plenty heavy enough at 11.1 gpi.

Will the spine of this arrow be okay for my set-up?

You should be ok. I had to go to the 300 full metal jackets for my 90# GTO and the same draw as you. If you haven't bought your arrows yet you might want to look at the 300 as most of my Elites like a stiffer spine.

just my opinion but I would go with the 300's, thats what I shot out of my 80lb envy and X-force, no tuning issues at all, I think the 340's may be a little weak,

I'm thinking the .300's might be a better choice now also, but they are so darn heavy at 12 gpi.

What I think I might do is go with the the new Axis NFuse Nano arrows in the .300 spine. That would solve any spine issues and they will weigh enough (10.7 gpi) along with the wraps and Blazers to still be pretty potent and plenty fast still. This is probably the better choice.
