Hi All,

I have a set of 980 #15 limbs for a Supra Focus XL. On the limbs I am seeing numbers 135, 136, 138, and 140.

From what I understand these numbers are arrangement numbers??? Would these work on both right and left handed bows?

Thanks

Those are measured deflection numbers...i.e. the how stiff the limbs are. The higher the number; the stiffer the limb.
Each bow as a sequence of where the stiffer limbs need to placed; for Evolve cam bows; the stiffer limbs go on the cable side; spread of 5-7 on top and 2-3 on bottom.
So the sequence for that particular set of limbs on an Evolve cam bow would be as follows for a right hand bow:

135-140
136-138

The work on both right hand and left hand bows; but the sequence is mirror image because the cable side is on the left for a left hand bow; like this:

140-135
138-136

118-125

One thing I did notice when I got back home. The #12 limbs currently mounted on my Left Hand bow are arranged as follows:

((Looking from the string side of the bow as if in a shooting position))

----------------Top
Left Side---125-122---Right side
-------------118-125
--------------Bottom

So should that mean the new limbs should be arranged?:

----------------Top
Left Side---140-136---Right side
-------------135-138
--------------Bottom

or

----------------Top
Left Side---138-136---Right side
-------------135-140
--------------Bottom

Cables are mounted on left side of one cam and go to yoke to the other cam.
Your current limbs are in the wrong sequence...i would be surprised if that bow was able to be tuned at all.
The sequence i put in post #2 for a LH bow is the correct one...
Did you get the bow used?

My intent wasnt to cast blame (sorry if it came across that way); I was just trying to answer the OPs question on how to sequence his new limbs. We have had several come from PSE with the bottom limbs reversed thats why i asked the question. As far as the limb sequence, what i posted above is correct. Sure; PSE can be called but bear in mind the customer service folks likely dont know much about tuning or the engineering of the bows, better to get that info from folks who live and breathe this stuff.
