I am outfitting a neighbor boy with spare parts from my kids set- upsand do not have much time to experiment. He wants to move up from the crossbow we started him on. One of the combinations I can put together is a 27" 390 grain arrow with 4" Duravanes/4% offset. Shooting about 240 FPS with 100 grain Magnus stingers through a WB rest.
Will 4% offset be enough to stabilize the stingers? Or should I refletch with a right helical, but will that go through the WB rest? If all else fails, I can strip and put on turbo nocks.
Thanks for any input.
