Hello all,
I recently made my youngster a little recurve. It looks pretty good but only pulls about ten pounds... he's
only 3. he has a little silly plastic bow that is useless, it will barely launch an arrow 5 yards. He loves to shoot it and actually has pretty good form lol.
My question is. Will adding fiberglass to the back of the limbs give it more power.

Yes, but no. If you add actual bow fiberglass, the weight will go up but that's $25 in the necessary materials, and it will crush the belly (if it's wood). It'd be simpler to shorten the bow a couple inches, which will add a few pounds very easily.
