Anybody have any experience adding footers to .260 Easton Hexx shafts? Sourcing or making the components would be helpful!

7.30 mm tophat shaft protector for the external and a 400 vap or pierce for internal or you can use a 400 4mm fmj it requires light sanding with the Fmj. I use a dab of rtv silicon around the pierce and Vaps seems to take up some of the shock on severe hits. If your using stock Easton brass inserts drill a hole through the inserts and you can drop a Brad nail down it and glue the the two together. Or grind some screws off lol.

I use the 260 Hexx with a 9gr footer ! #7 - 204 from Rayzor Inc. total with shipping for 1 doz was $27.15 I had to email him because they weren't shown on there website !
I really like them because they give the end of the carbon shaft some strength when using the 75 gr inserts and also adds to your FOC

I can't get on facebook, and can't find the Rayzor Inc. website. A Easton XX75 2013 has an ID of .287" and the Hexx .260 is listed as .288" OD, anybody tried to sand down a shaft .0005" per side?
