I was wondering if any of you 3D shooters have ever been to shoots where they have age brackets? They don't have any where we shoot but I don"t understand why. They do it in other types of archery tournaments but not 3D. Maybe this is something that should be brought up to the organizers by the older shooters. I know they have them for younger shooters but I am talking about us "GEEZERS" over fifty with poor eyesight and shakey hands!! Let me know what you think.....

There are ‘Age’ brackets already in place at sanctioned IBO and ASA tournaments. For those over 50 they have the ‘Senior’ class and for those over 60 they have the ‘Master’ Class in IBO and it is called the ‘Super Seniors’ in ASA.

At the local level some clubs do have a 'senior" class, but most don't. At the NFAA State and Regional shoots and IBO qualifiers there is an age distinction. I myself normally shoot open classes in the local shoots and Senior classes in all that are bigger.
