Sorry no pics but how much did that thing weigh

 

Not sure but he was huge my biggest bodied buck ever. My biggest was 235# dressed. I am 6'4" 225#.

 

As they say different strokes for different folks. This was my first P&Y and was fighting when I first saw him. After the fight broke he came my way. By far this was the worst mount idea I've had. Eyes bulging, ears aid back, head down, hair raised, even though he just finished fighting, it just doesn't do the deer justice IMHO.

 

Love those big-bodied Northeastern bucks.
The Benoit boys would be proud.

 

The buck was actually killed in SE Ohio. I leave Vermont during the gun season, I have no intrest in gun hunting for deer.

 

I should have asked before assuming.

I guess those Benoit boys wouldn't be proud; I don't reckon they hunt Ohio!

I think it would look good but make sure you get a good taxidermist to do it because it if comes out wrong it could really messed up. A bad taxidermist might not make him look aggressive, and might just make him look strange. Use discretion when choosing your taxidermist.

 

I got the nount back today. I went with the Ben Meqrs agressive hooking mold. It turned out just how I wanted it and my taxi did a great job as usual.
