When hunting or shooting with a stiff wind present how does it affect where you aim.

I know with a stiff (for NC) wind about 15 mph I aim in the direction is is blowing from about 1" per 10 yds

but rarely to I get the opportunity to test this much as winds are not often that steady here

Is this what you find?

How about if shooting from a stand into or directly away from the wind.
How does it affect the arrow?

Pondering the wind in a mostly windless area ...

It really depends. How well you aim, how big your arrow is, how large your vanes are and the speed of your bow.

With my field setup. With a 10mph I wouldn't really pay much attention to it. With my hunting arrows I would a little. But then I am referring to being out in the open. Hunting situations most days the wind only effects how much my tree sways. Even if it was a 30mph wind unless my tree is flopping around a stiff wind isn't going to effect me in the woods anyway and it sure isn't gonna do anything to my arrow at deer shooting distances.
