I wear brown lowa boots. Deer never see me coming.

 

That's all I wear.. Muck Wetlands in brown. Love them

 

I shot one at 15 yards wearing blaze orange in rifle season. Brown boats should be ok.

Been wearing brown Meindl boots for over a decade. Haven't scared anyone off because of my footwear...

Agreed. A lot of the times they turn white. You are fine with brown boots. I shot my last turkey in brown cathart jeans and a black north face jacket, the dog was laying on the ground next to me also.

I dont even wear all camo clothes most of the season. All of my boots are brown

Guys hunt with white bows and sit with a blaze orange vest. Remember deer are color blind.

 

Deer are not completely color blind. Blues and yellows stand out to them. Blaze orange is grey. Agree, doesn't matter, movement gets you every time.

 

LMAO, you do realize camo patterns are to sell the customer not the animal.

 

Blue jeans and a t shirt with my lacrosse green boots now in our MS winter. Never seen a deer run from me unless I move. I like the asat camo, rest are just to look cool at the hunting club.

Brown vs camo boots, a total non issue. Either will work fine.
The camo colored boots are a marketing ploy to fool hunters (generally at a higher price) not game.

 

I wear UA Haw boots. 1 pair is all green the other Realtree.

I prefer the green ones better.

Of all the things that are going to get you busted, I wouldn't worry to much about the colour of your boots

 

Most camo is overrated.
The only thing you need to
be sure of is that you carry a camo
flashlight.

 

My buddy got his fall turkey while I was sitting right next to him in a blue sweat pants no face mask or gloves just did not move as they were walking in.

 

Throw out all your camo boys and stock up on blue sweatpants.

Just kidding bud. I think it's outstanding that your friend was able to kill a turkey with you next to him wearing a very non-hunting-like ensemble.

 

I think the camo pattern is more to break up big blotches. Yes deer are color blind but if u see a large blotch of one solid color it may stand out to them.

 

After the leaves fall, most trees are one solid color blob...

 

A benefit of brown vs camo boots is that brown boots can sometimes be bought for a lower price. You pay extra if you want to be fashionable.

 

Worry about them smelling what is on your boots, not seeing them lol.

 

They still have edges which break up the pattern. Why do guys paint their faces? So it breaks up that solid color

 

If I could only find brown I would just go hunting in brown boots and not worry about it

Poop is brown too. Just like deer you never see it till its to late..

 

Solid color boots shouldn't be a problem. My late season boots along with my rubber boots are solid colors.

 

I've spent more time in a tree with the olive drab green Lacrosse Burlys than any other boot. Never had a deer look at my boots and spook off.
