Please don’t crucify me for asking this question, but does anyone know if there are blazer fletches of alternate colors. I am aware of the orange, florescent orange, green, florescent green, yellow, white, black, pink, camo, and brown. If I don’t have any other choices, I will go with either florescent green or florescent orange and white.

With that said, is there any other colors available.

Alright... here we go. What adhesion problem are you talking about? Is this something that could be cured by cleaning the vane prior to applying the glue? Is this a wide-spread problem?

You've got my attention...

I'm sorry if I'm coming off as frustrated, it's just that I've been researching for a while now and I don't want to go through the trouble of installing new vanes on my arrows only to have them fall off a couple weeks later.

So I guess my question is how many of you have had problems with blazers adhearing to your aluminum arrows?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks again,
-Matt

I have used more than 300 Blazer flo colored vanes with no adhesion problems at all. I strip the old vanes with a single edge razor blade and then clean with acetone on a paper towel. Shafts are super clean and vanes stay on. Most recently I have used a few arrow wraps and have had no adhesion problems.

I would suspect the problems stem from poor cleaning of the shaft or when using their jigs the vane does not have good contact with the shaft.

I am interested in what adhesion problems people are having.

They vanes were fletched on new shafts and cleaned twice just to insure they would properly apply to the arrow shaft. This was last year and I was not the only person in my area that had this problem. I may have gotten a bad grouping of them but about three other ppl had this same problem. I am going to order 100 of the flo yellow to use on top of the yellow blazer wraps for my hunting shafts this year if i have the same problem again with these i wont use the flo colors again.
