What else can be used to lube the rail? Cooking oils, KY, etc.? Thanks

try this stuff...

JW, I bought this product that is a light silicon-based lube called sil-glyde from an auto supply store. 4 oz [as in 1/4 pound!] for about $8-9. Been using it for a couple of years, it's great and I use it for other stuff too, and still can't tell I used any out of the tube. Ought to last a lifetime if just used for rail lube - slick as snail snot and stays effective for a long time; just don't put too much on.

Its all about the money. The crooked sobs here in ks have already made it legal here during archery season.

I'd be all for it for youth, handicap, elderly and women. All I see is just an open invitation for more yahoo slobs (you know, most of the guys you see in orange on public land) out in the field. I hunt private land so it don't effect me one way or the other.

Don't kid yourselves fellas, its a gun that shoots arrows. They are damn cool but just be honest.

Ps I just purchased a xgun for my kid and my senior father to use.
And now he wants our help.
