I know............that's a loaded question.

This will mark my 30th opening day of bow season here in Ohio.

Seems like the past 15 years or so....when ever I manage to kill that opening day doe, as I roll her over....start cutting the hide....and slice into the intestinal cavity...that wafting smell makes my mouth water.

All I can think about is those backstraps wrapped in bacon sizzling on the grill.:tongue: :tongue: :tongue:

followed by a couple of :darkbeer: :darkbeer:

If field dressing a deer makes your mouth water for venison , I must doing something really wrong. I do agree with the :darkbeer: :darkbeer: part.

Once you get that smell in your blood, you just can't shake it...Man I love deer hunting...!
