I'm looking to get rid of the straps and buckles on my mobile set and I'm considering the daisy chains.
Any input, advise, or tips?
I have a xop vanish and 4 hawk helium mini sticks.

In my opinion you should not use amsteel daisy chains on the hawks.
The reason being is that it's rare to get daisy chains tight enough to prevent a kick out from happening with the hawks, they just don't bite most trees good enough.
I use a hawk helium with a regular cam buckle strap for hanging cameras so I'm familiar with how they bite the tree.

I do use daisy chains on my shikar sticks and I have used them on the beast sticks but those sticks bite the tree so good that often times they stay stuck to the tree when I take the daisy chains off.

If I were you I would look into the rope mod instead. You can get it tighter than daisy chains (safer) and you get rid of the cam buckle.

Good luck.

Make your own daisy chains, only use amsteel blue bought from a reputable place (NOT amazon or ebay), and I recommend this method

I use 7/64" amsteel on sticks and steps and 1/8" on platforms

Agreed. Now, with a traditional daisy chain method (where you just loop them over loose), then smaller links can be an advantage.

The trucker's hitch doesn't require you to find a nearby link to get tight, so I made my links on the daisy chains for my steps 4" spacing. This also cuts down on how much splicing you have to do.
