Went into Archers Advantage in Little Rock this afternoon and found the new Monster hanging on the range. First thing that I thought of was don't draw this bow without an arrow nocked. Well, I call for one of the guys that work there and he proceeds to tell me someone dry fired it about 30 minutes after it showed up. It broke the string and both the cables and that was it. Apparently the guy did not get the thing fully drawn before it jumped out of his fingers. I did get to shoot it. Lets just say I won't be getting rid of the Seven37 to buy this bow. It was a cool looking piece though.

This particular bow was set at fifty five pounds. It sure did feel like more than that. It had a site, biscuit, and peep with no stab and no string suppressor. Only got to shoot it just a few times. I am going to return and have it cranked up to max poundage and do some tweaking and shoot it some more before I pass final judgement. Sure did like the fit and finish. I just don't think it is my cup of tea.
