We spot and stalk them. We take a good pair of optics, good boots, and a white hanky for flagging.
Another tool I used last year was a mapping compas! The past summer I attened SCI's AWLS and learn how to use one. So one day during rifle (*gasp* I said the "R" word! ) We spotted a pair of does about 3 miles away. Problem was there was no way to stalk them with out being seen. So I pulled out the Brunton compas and set it. We then went back to the rig and drove around along the highway till we got to the phone pole we'd used as a marker. Using the compas it lead us right to where those goofy does were bedded! GREAT TOOL!

A willingness and desire to use said 50 yard pin. By the way most antelope hunters have pins for much further distances than that.
Yer right, but I have noticed alot of them couldn't hit a 10 inch pie plate at 40. Let alone with there broadheads. I would say, take your patience, range finder, confidence from alot of shots at your max yardage, and the will to stay within your boundries.

Water and Decoy

This year if it stays dry, water is going to be the ticket. Also, later in September when the rut starts warming up decoys are a blast.

If you are going to hunt out of a blind be sure to take some shorts and tennis shoes. It gets hotter than hades inside that blind. A couple of good books to read and a pair of binoculars will keep you entertained also. Antelope hunting can be fun and relaxing so enjoy.

If hunting from a blind you will not necessarily have to worry about long shots. When I was in Montana a couple of years ago I shot a buck at 8 yards and a doe and 23 yards.
