Any KY guys hunt Daniel Boone Forest?

I used to camp red River gorge a few years ago with a few buddies and I miss our camping trips. I hate it when friends get married and have kids...

Anyways. Was thinking of doing a solo camping/hunting trip. I've only been to the gorge but I know there are a bunch of diffetent areas. Anything one better than the other? I don't need any of yours guys secret honey holes, just wondering if one area may be more practical that the other. Don't mind hiking. I will go as far as I have to, to avoid people.

I'm trying to get myself ready for hunting it west, so if I can survive a few days in KY, Wyoming is next.

No one hunts Daniel Boone national forest? Or is it so good no one wants to let the secret out?

I talked to a few guys that have hunted down there. They told me to get a deer your are gonna have to work for it. Get way back off the roads and you won't see anyone but the terrain is rough and the deer numbers aren't that big.

A guess a lot of people turkey hunt out there also.
