That bow was kinda like the present TomKat, a good entry level bow that didn't break the bank. The new TomKat has the Binary cam system so I believe it could be your next step up iof you're looking:wink:

Nothing wrong with a Blackhawk. I like it and still hunt with it by choice.

Heres the deal. I used to buy a new used bow every year.
Bought the leftie blackhawk two years ago.......
I really want to buy a new one........
but...its still really good. My arrows are around 400 grains, 265fps, 60# limbs, its not the quietest, smoothest bow when compared to 06 and up bows, but dang...its still one of the shortest, lightest (bare bow well under 3#'s) and long brace slings 'em out there all day.
I may crackerize it and keep it if I cant justify dumping a long dollar into a new bow that may, or may not ring my bell like this one [black ice :)]
