Anyone ever use this Chrono?

I picked it up at an auction for about $5.00. Just need to get the sheilds on top.

You can. In fact, my Chrony works most dependably on a hazy, bright overcast day without the diffusers. The diffusers are a pain to use unless the sun is bright and directly overhead.
