I just moved into a new place with a nice yard in the back. its in a subdivision and has a nice yard for a good 30 yard shot. Problem is i need a target with a good backstop so i dont kabob a kid down the street if i blank one. Any pictures of your backyard courses?

Not exactly a range but it does have wheels to move about. It's as safe as I can make it, 2 feet thick of foam at the top, stands at over 7 feet tall, 4 feet wide. I will use outdoor carpet squares on the face of the foam to have even more stopping power. I'm also in an urban setting, but with less space, and only have enough backyard for 18 meter shooting. The foam pieces are from Home Depot in 2' X 4' pieces. I cut them to the size that I wanted with a hacksaw blade that I heated up with a propane torch, which cuts through like butter. I then laminated the pieces together with construction adhesive to get the desired thickness. I also now have better ratchet type tie downs now, but not pictured. Additionally, I've purchased 6 more sheets to stack on top, giving even more protection. The main shooting surface is a Block Elite.

I am sited in to 50 yards in my yard using a carbon giant target I got from Dick's Sporting Goods. I am going to attempt 60-80 tomorrow.

In the DIY section there is a lot of good target butts that you can make.

morell outdoor range for arond $90-100 this target is huge for feild points and has fairly eaisy arrow removal. other than that you can make one by compressing cardboard. someone had a pic of what they made to do it and it worked well and was large in size.
