I was at my local archery club meeting on sunday and a guy showed up with a matthews switchback which had the original strings replaced with some sort of musical instrument strings. I think they were either cello or bass strings. Believe it or not, it was shooting pretty good. It wasn't very quiet though:darkbeer:
Anyone heard of alternative bow strings??
