Anyone shoot the Easton 6.5 whiteouts?

I just saw these and wondering if anyone has positive or negative experience with these. I love a white arrow. Used to shoot the gold tip Ted Nugget. They are just too heavy at 10.8 gpi. Also looking at the gold tip airstrikes. They aren’t white but kind of a grey/silver. Worried they are shiny with that coating they have. Don’t want an arrow that reflects sunlight in the stand. Thanks for any info.

No input to your question, but black carbon arrows will reflect sunlight in a big way so it’s doubtful white colors will have a negative impact.
I haven’t noticed this with the dull carbon arrow’s. Can’t comment of any shiny black arrows.

I asked the same thing at Lancaster‘s two days ago and ended up buying some bare shafts to fletch. They said they shot great the only issues they found is they were tough pulling out of a 3-D target due to the coating on the outside. No first hand knowledge of that but thought I’d pass it along.

I shot the beman white outs for a few years (close to the same arrow as the Easton's) with no issues. They were a good standard size arrow. I've also fletched up and shot a dozen of the regular 6.5 I had no issues with them and actually really like the insert they come with, it's a little heavier without going overboard. Without adding any extra weight they came out to about 420 grains with a 100 grain head on them and cut to 29" which has seemed to work well for me. Going to fletch up some BE carnivores for this year but not sure they will be worth the extra cost over the 6.5 I just like to build arrows lol.

I don't like white arrows for hunting. We all know any color is fine especially if you are motionless. But IMHO the deer's alarm of waving that white tail as a warning means they recognize moving white as a signal. That said the deer are "supposed" to see orange as white and I use orange all the time..............lol

I shoot the 6.5 Easton Whiteouts when turkey hunting from a blind. What I like about the white arrow is for me any way, easier to see the hit on the bird and IF I (cough cough) miss it’s easier to find the arrow if it snakes in the ground/grass. Last thing I want is for my landowner is to find my arrow in his tractor tire. I also shoot them deer hunting and have no concerns about the white color.

I shot them last year and they are a great shaft. There were a couple circumstances where I was able to see the shaft after a pass thru that I wouldn’t have been able to see with a black shaft. The coating is a little fragile but it never really bothered me if there were a couple small chips in the paint. They are a smidge heavier than the regular shaft and on a good shooting day your groups will show a difference between the different shafts. I wanted to shoot Victories this year so I didn’t go back to them, but I like the idea of a white (or orange) shaft for hunting.
