I have shot the heck out of this bow since I got it. I love this thing so much.

I guess the string has stretched a bit, it has settled in just a hair under 69 pounds according to the scale at Bass Pro/Sportsmen’s near St. Louis. I thought I was just getting stronger. But the power is there.

I am shooting a 650 grain arrow on a single pin sight. I have my sights adjusted so that the lowest impact on the target is about 3.5” low at 30 yards. I have been shooting 5 shot groups one shot each at 30, 25, 20, 15, and 10 yards with the same center hold, and my highest impact so far was just under 4.5” above POA.

This includes shots that I whiffed and called, and even when I whiff it I rarely throw one more than a inch or two off the mark. I SO wish I could chronograph my arrows, I would love to know my speed. My guess is that it’s pretty efficient with the heavy arrow.

I picked this thing up on a whim, when I took my cheap Amazon bow to be restrung. I am so glad I did! Only paid $350 for it brand new at Midwest Archery.

I understand that PSE has a new Brute, and are phasing this one out. Are any of you still shooting one of these?

I've got a Drive NXT that I'm pretty fond of. It's my backup hunting bow.
