Outland Sports bought API, along with a few other companies...but I don't see API products listed on there right now...

http://www.outlandsports.com/
http://www.apioutdoors.com/

Both go to the same place...

I had to order a footrest for a Baby Grand Lite and went through hell trying to find one.

STAY AWAY FROM ORDEROUTDOORS.COM!!! They were a nitemare to order with, never got the product to me, and I had to wind up disputing the charges with my CC company!

I wound up getting the footrest from Hunters Catalog Store, and they had GREAT service.

Click STORE and type in the Search box what you need. I believe they are just an Ellett Brothers dealer, but you can get what you need there! ;)

Good Luck!

Worth noting, when I had the incident mentioned in my post above, I contaced Outland Sports regarding OrderOutdoors.

Outland Sports told me (2 months ago?) that the API production lines were going to be re-opened (in a couple of weeks from that point in time) to resume the manufacturing of stands and accessories.

I don't know if that has happened or not, but it doesn't sound like it...

1-800-228-4846 I used columbine chain it is the same thing and costs less. you can get it at the equipment supply house ,, use clear plastic tubeing that you can get at a lumber yard like H Q or some like place like that . works better and lasts longer.

Once again, I HIGHLY recommend staying away from OrderOutdoors...which is the link JAVELINA posted.

Read my post above...
I just searched on goggle, i've never done any business with them.

But here is a link to a company which has a few in stock. And I have spent thousands with this company, they are extremely easy to do business with. :)http://www.natchezss.com/treestands/aotreestands.html

I was told at the Ark Hunters Expo that Bass pro had bought the API division of Outland Sports.I was also told that it got in trouble because of lawsuits over stands API had biult in China then marketed through Wal-Mart.

Hrmm I dunno.

I'd find that pretty interesting though...because this year Cabela's (Bass Pro's main competitor) had several stands made with API's design specifically for Cabela's.

Perhaps Bass Pro acquired API's patents and is lowballing Cabelas?
