Well I just started looking for the above mention arrow being that is what I have been using for the last 15 years with my set up and now they dropped it yet again like the Autumn Orange the drop the arrow that works best with my set up. You can get it in XX75 Camo Hunter or the XX78 but the XX78 is more for a good practice arrow and the camo hunter is just a leak excuse for a camo arrow. Seems that Easton is just another company that does what they want and we just have to change yet they offer this arrow for a very long time. So much for any loyalty to their customer I guess that is the way of the USA today business is business!!!

I really like that arrow with that camo was price right for my budget... Guess I will have to start thinking of making change once I run out and it will be to another brand probably Gold Tips.. Sad I like the aluminum arrow was a great arrow guess carbon is the way we are being pushed to go as they continue to drop items some of us use!

Thanks but I don't buy there any more just not worth it got burned once and since I am very leary about sellers there and the same for Paypal and the requirements to file a complaint and then their hoops you have to jump thru if you rarely use your paypal account so I closed that account and only buy if they accept credit card as payment if I do but have notthat in a long time... Guess that is just the way things are going for me...

Thanks though.

Just letting others that shot this arrow they can't get them after this year... You might find them if someo still has tem but those I get my arrows from don't have them no...

I know some shoot this arrow you shoot what works for you and I shoot these or I will until I run out... Sad how they made X7 in all kinds of sizes that you never heard of either like 2511, 2512 and 2613 which they don't offer in XX78 Super Slam Shaft... yet some must shoot them if the offer them but soon probably won't...

Think about the business side for a moment. Easton probably makes millions of shafts and they have to sell them to make money. Given 90% of the archers now use carbon, I would imagine that they don't sell a lot of the more uncommon sizes (like 2514) and thereby made a business choice to stop making them and probably due to demand. I doubt Easton had the thought of "screw our 2514 size customers, we don't care" but rather "we've had this batch of 2514's in the warehouse for 11 months now and it is costing a lot to make them yet we aren't really selling them. Let's just discontinue that size".

Obviously this is a hypothetcial because I don't know for sure. But why not just call Easton and ask them?

The XX75 Camo Hunter has the same specs, and uses the same alloy and components as the XX75 Hardwoods. They both use 7075-T9 aluminum, .002" straightness, and +/-1% weight tolerance. Why is it a weak excuse for an arrow? They are a different camo..makes no sense for Easton to carry it in both colors.

Check most everyone even a few that might have them left in stock so far nothing. Might have to go with the camo hunter too use as practice arrows and save the others I have for hunting till I run out.
Hope not mamny others are in need hard to get the better Camo except on the XX78's and the price goes up...

Last year many started switching back to Aluminum because of the "lower cost" and yet carbons are more popular you would think that they would have come down in price yet they stay jusy about where they always have been unless it is last years model and discontinued. Yet there is more arrow manufacturers that only make carbon and yet they price the same as the others one would think with more competition the lower the price except on carbon arrows. Oh wait that is right most of the carbons are made outside the USA...

Thanks

Because Archery is a PERSONAL Choice and I prefer the Permagraphics that have with the 2514 Size for the last 15 years.

But for some we all shoot the same arrow the same bow the same rest and use all the exact same sight. Oh only YZEATER Does... That right I forgot...

It is the arrow I have been uisng for the last 15 years and thus my reason for letting others know because if they drop this one soon they will start discontinuing other sizes...

you better start boycotting EASTON. you won't be able to shoot anymore.

with the way you are crying about it you'd think they quit making it all together.

i just searched ebay for ya, and it's too bad that they don't have any listed. but then you'd have another excuse to not buy them.

they did not discontinue that size either, it is still MADE.
