Hey guys, A friend of mine has a an 2005 AR 34 bare bow for sale. It has the ram and a half cams on it and 70# limbs. He priced it to me for $275. I didn't shoot it cause his draw length is 2 inches shorter than mine. It has a nice feel in my hand though. Are draw length modules readily available for these? Any comments (good or bad) about this bow? Does that sound like a good deal?

To answer your question about the modules. Yes they are available thru any AR or PSE dealer. Their not all that exspensive either. As far as the price of the bow it depends on the conditon. I have shot both of the 34's with the ram single cam and the ram and 1/2. The hybrid is the faster of the two. But in my opinon the single cam version was smoother. But thats just my opinon.

The only thing that I didn't care for on the hybrid was the let off and draw stop in the high letoff position. I believe it is 75%. It seamed to draw smooth up until the letoff and drop suddenlyand slamed into the draw stop. Other than that it was a great cam system. I think that PSE has improved the hybrid system senses I shot one. I would suggest if you are seriously think about buying I would shoot it and see how it feels to you. If it feels good and the bow is in good conditon. Go for it! As I said the modules are not exspensive.

Good luck with it.

You know I drew it back and it did seem to have a narrow valley. I just thought that was the draw length being way too short for me. Does it quiet down easily? I want it for a hunting bow. Yes it is in real good shape.

i have one and love it and for 275 you cant go wrong. i prefer the 65% let off to the 75% which is easy to change.

if the paint is worn have your friend send it in for a new riser.

they are sweet bows and for 275 its even better
