What is everybody using to store your "stuff" and keep it organized?

Extra releases, rests, extra inserts and nocks, stabilizer weights, spare cams, extra sight pins with fiber optics attached, miscellaneous pieces and parts, etc?

A fishing tackle box? A purpose-made box designed for archery stuff? A couple old plastic Walmart sacks?

Tackle trays, zip lock bags, and plastic containers from the dollar store. All goes in a wooden desk that has all my other archery tools - vise, saw, spine test, etc.

This is the current format of my archery workbench......3 stack draw system with smaller archery gear such as Dloop material, peep sights, stab weights, stab wraps, levels, and extra BH's. On top are records of various bow setups and tuning modifications. To the right is an open top organizer with hand tools....various pliers, allen wrenches, scissors, razor knives, lighter, nail clipper, serving material, sharpeners; then a T-handle allen wrench set that sees a lot of use. Beyond that is my bow scale, grain scale, spine tester and bench mounted bow vice.

Lots of good ideas guys. Thanks to all of you. 👍

I guess there's really no one-size-fits-all solution.

I was "hoping" for one neat catch-all box, but I just don't think it exists, and you all are proving it to me.

The issue with any form of box is that you have to open it and recall where you put things. For the smaller and lesser used materials, the stacking drawer system works great. But for my regular use tools, the open top organizer works best because I can see what is there and quickly obtain what I need for the particular job.

On an adjacent wall to my bench, I converted an oak shelf unit that we bought for books in the living room to my "fletching center" after our latest move about 4 1/2 years ago. I bought a Plano adjustable container from the fishing department for my vanes. MUCH more convenient that keeping them in plastic bags to sort through and count out quantities. Plus it has a lid so I could easily take it with me.

PS.....if anyone is in need of some orange/orange tiger Blazers....PM me. I don't fletch in orange any longer and they are just taking up space.

I use a tackle box with multiple drawers for the smaller stuff, vanes, d loop material, nocks, etc..
Then I have a roll away tool box with multiple drawers.
Of course my work bench has a lot of stuff on it.
I have a top section of a dresser that has 2 big drawers. that is where I keep my string making material and tools.
Pardon the mess.

Im using a cabelas tackle bag (size large). One of the best archery related items i have. It holds 6 of the tackle boxes, has side pickets for tools, cams, mods, etc. Front pocket i use for string/cable sets. Basically able store everything i need to tear down a bow or make arrows and i can take it on thr go.

When I get my shop finished, I'll use a full size mechanic's tool box or two. Until then, I need to have my equipment mobile, so I use the HDX interlocking organizers from Home Depot. They are (were) also the best bang for the buck with a TWO-PACK costing only $9.95. Not perfect, but for the price, they're good enough. The depth is almost perfect. Some of those I looked at were too deep and some were too shallow. The interlocking feature could come in handy. I recently purchased a Small folding hand truck/cart for my stack of these organizers, which will be just right for my stack of 8 (Four 2-packs). I purchased my last 2-pack just last week at 9.95 at Home Depot and just now when I looked them up, I see they have gone up to 14.88 at Home Depot. But Walmart has identical boxes for 9.84 for a 2-pack under the Hyper Tough name brand. I say Identical, but not sure if they are interchangeable or will interlock with the HDX versions. They look absolutely identical other than the color of the rear removable dividers.

For the price, the quality is pretty good. The closures snap nicely and the the interlockers also double as side closures that prevent the lids from blulging in the middle just enough to allow small parts to escape. They are very nice boxes for $5 each!

Here is a link to the Hyper Tough branded version at Walmarts:

Here is the HDX version that Home Depot carries (The ones I purchased before the price went up):

Before I went to these boxes, I had the clear fishing containers I used in a bag like NY12020 shows above. They worked OK, but I had some issues with the lids not being as secure as I wanted. These new boxes have much more significant and secure lids. However, I did prefer the totally clear containers as far as being able to see exactly what's in them. I will likely color code and/or label my HDX boxes. Not a big deal.
