shoot'em all

Shoot every bow in your price range you can get your hands on. Do not fall for fancy ads. If you shoot all the bows you can, you will know the one that fits you best. The main thing is to go to a qualified pro shop or two and speak to someone who knows what they are talking about and how a bow should fit and how to set it up correctly. AR is a PSE company and is manufactured at their plant. I have shot the new Ross, Mathews, Bowtech and Hoyt bows. They all of their qualities, but the Mathews and the Ross stood out for me. I did not like the bottom cam lean on the Bowtech or the draw cycle of the Hoyt. I could not tell how quiet the Ross was at the place where I shot it due to the shooting lane being lined with cinder blocks on both sides. I went with the Mathews and have been pleased so far. I hope that it is good luck and draws in that monster I have been chasing for years:wink:

Good Luck

Pse/ar

Well after family friend who has bow shop got fed up[ with Point Shoot Explode and thier sc**wing the dealers (and Don has been a PSE dealer for long time ,,well way back in the 80's so if he dumped them go figure. He now carries Bowtech, Diamond and Parker.
Another dealer around has PSE,AR,Browning and Forge,,, may have other brands ,,not sure.
This guy bragged on AR and fter trying to shoot one I gave up,, it was ALMOST as hard to draw/shoot as a Hoyt (and I had a Trykon XL blow up in my face while shooting).
I shot Low end Martins,Fred Bear, Ross, Bowtech, Diamond, Parker, I did get to shoot a Forge, too.
Well I also tried 2 different Mathews dealers, then found a bow I like.
I had already got a bow from neighbors wife, a Parker Buck Hunter,,, very sweet for lower end bow and it helped them out too.
Now I have my XT and actually I even got a new wood grip for my Parker to replace the rubber pos.
Shoot lots of brands and models before buying anything.:darkbeer:

The AR line of bows are GREAT but it's each persons liking! What i like AR is not maybe what you like! It's like other people have already said in this post you have to shoot several bows to see what you like!

Asking someone what bow to buy is like asking someone what girl to date, it's really something you need to pick for yourself!

I Love Mine

I have shoot Bowtech bows religously for the past several years now, after a mishap with my Pro 38, I began to shoot differnt brands AGAIN. I shot Mathews, Bowtech, AR, Hoyt, Concept, Parker, Darton, after it was all said and done, i purchased an AR 37 Blade. This isn't the fastest bow i shot, it has much more hand shock than most, and its not screaming fast, its not even quiet, but it was the only thing i shot half as well as i did my Pro 38. Like was posted earlier, Shoot them all, see what you like. As for the quality of the AR and PSE line, I truly believe that they are just as good as the big three.

I have been on AT for a while and have bought, sold, and traded every brand and nearly every model. My last transaction was for an AR-34. I've had it for 2 or 3 months now (which is a record for me lately), and i love it. The grip is the best around, it's A-A, Brace, and speed make it a great Hunting/3D combo. Just shoot one and see if you like it.

I Love Mine. Went To The Bow Shop Yesterday And Talk About Customer Service. Had Some Paint Coming Off The Riser On My Ar34 And Dealer Told Me He Could Send It In And They Would Strip The Riser And Redip With A New Process Put On New Limbs Since They Cannot Strip The Paint Off Of Them And Put New Cables And Strings On For $30. I Think Thats Great Customer Service!
