A side from going through the process of learning as you go which I have been doing online and videos for the last two years.
Does anyone know of any kind of training centre close to the Northwest
where one could learn the in's and outs breaking down compound bows and rebuilding them, tricks of the trade and things of that nature.
I have the tools except for a bow press and stringer. That will come ( need the space) I have started collecting a bit of stock and am currently working out of my garage.
If anyone could help send me in the right direction that would be great.

Thanks

Shooter School at PSE

http://www.pse-archery.com/archeryschools.php

They do both technical and shooting training. Alexander Kirilov is one of the best.

You will spend a couple days with PSE techs building ALL their bows from parts and learing about tuning and repairs.

Most of the students either own or work for archery shops so you will learn a lot during lunch and other discussions.

I took the course last July and like it so much I moved to Tucson.
