I am in the market for at least a dozen new arrows. I shoot a Switchback with 29 inch draw at 70 lbs. I shoot 100 grain 3 blade Spitfires. I am looking for strictly a hunting shaft, I don't not shoot 3d or competition at all. I just practice for hunting situations.

I am looking to go with White Blazers and white wraps.

Need some advise or recomendations for a shaft. Carbon Shaft.

Thanks.

I shoot an Outback, 70#. I used Axis 340 (29.5" length) last year with 100 Spitfires and 100 Crossfires. Shot a deer with each. Both worked great. I also shot 9 red squirrels and chipmunks around the yard (G5 small game head) without any damage to the Axis arrow. I just bought Full Metal Jacket 340 to try. They are supposed to come out of 3D target easily. Love the Axis, they fly well and are more durable than any other arrow I have tried. I think the FMJ will be as least as good. Good Luck.

My bow and draw/poundage is the same as yours. I use Vapor 4000's Carbonwoods with 85 grain Thunderheads for hunting. I shoot the 4000's in black pro series at 3-D and practice, until it gets close to hunting season.

Easton A/C/C

I'm shooting about the same set up as you are and I'm shooting Easton a/c/c 360's and they fly great they may cost a little more but the straightness and durability is what I'm looking for and the quality that easton produces. These arrows have out lasted a couple of bows and I have shot up to four deer with the same arrow.

I agree with Primitivehunter. The a/c/c's are a very high quality shaft. They have tight tolerences and they spin true with broadheads. Yes they are a bit spendy, however you get high quality for the price. Good Luck
