Arrow Questions from a Newbie..

Alright guys, I've been trying to get into this archery thing. I just have a few questions about the arrows I will be needing. I want to make sure that I my arrows have the correct weight, spine, length, etc... I am shooting a Mathews Feather Max that is a few years old. The draw weight is set at 62 lbs. and maxed out. I have a 27" draw and was wondering what would the correct length for my arrows be? Also, I am looking at ordering a dozen Easton ST Axis arrows and wasn't sure about the correct spine. Shouldn't my the spine of my arrows be .400?? Thanks...

You're safe with 400 spine; and the length of your arrow varies according to personal preference, but usually your arrow extends between 1/2" to 3" in front of your arrow rest. One inch has quite a few followers. Shorter arrows are lighter and faster.

Here; do some reading.
