When setting up you rest how high do you set the arrow from the shelf? My older bows have the burger button hole 1/2 inch from the shelf. Some of the newer models are 3/4 inch. If you do not use a Burger Button does it matter?
I always set my rest up so that the arrow either Bisects the Berger hole or it is slightly above the hole. It depends on the bow and the rest combination. I like to tinker with my setups, so I'm forever tweaking on them until I find the "sweet spot" then I keep my hands off of them.
On my PSE Quantum, I found that I get the best setup and arrow flight by setting the rest to where the arrow's bottom side is exactly at the top of the Berger hole.
Please remember, this is how I set them up and it may not work for you!
Grandpawrichard, that's interesting you put the rest above the burger. I'm guessing it would be about 1 1/4 inch above the shelf. If I tried that on one of my newer bows, my nock would be at the end of the centerserving
