hey guys i need some new arrows,y, i shoot cx now, the mayhems, or terminator litesbut i kind of want something american made and from what i have heard easton or beman are the options, my setup is a hoyt alphaburner 70 pound 30 inch draw, with over draw so the arrows are only 28 (could go 27.75) i think i want to go with a .340 spine i have narrowed my choices to the beman ics 340 @ 9.3 gpi the mfx at 9.5 the st axis at 9.5 the fmj 11.3 or the st epic at 9.5 i was looking and the mfx looks an awful lot like the st epic. is it just me?

.340 spine will be WAY to weak for your set-up... If you use 100 grain points and even go down to 27 3/4" your actual spine is .2933 and at 28" its .2908 you can use the .300 spine axis, and Harvest time HT-2 in 300 spine

Ahh running the numbers on the machine.... I shot a 2413 out of my burner at 30/70 that is a 360 spine.

340 if it will tune if not go with the ics 300's or the axis 300's.

340s tune fine, i get great broadhead flight and field points are breaking arrows often enough to make me shoot spots. i think because of the overdraw it helps. i just need help deciding.

ok ive narrowed it to the easton st epic, or the beman mfx bone collector, both are lower priced. i was really lookin at the fmjs but i want a little lighter setup about 420 grains, because i like some distance, so i think that they would be a tad heavy, am i dumb for removing the axis line?

is it me or are the epic and the mfx the same? same weight, spine, and tolerances, same finish, same nocks and inserts?

anybody know? are they the same diameter? is there a different in the x and h nocks?

H and X nocks are NOT interchangeable, X nocks are bigger diameter. I just tried it... ain't gonna work.

ST Epic .340 9.5 gpi
ST Epic Realtree .340 10.2 gpi
MFX Bone Collector .340 9.5 gpi

ST Epic .300 10.0 gpi
ST Epic Realtree .300 10.7 gpi
MFX Bone Collector .300 10.7 gpi
