could you suggest best spine and average fps on arrow for my set up.2010 pse axe 6-set at 29.5 inch draw lengh 70lb draw weight.arrow lengh 29 inches.hunting arrow using 100 grain grim reaper

I would look into 300s, and a mid weight arrow, 9-10gr/inch. Those things would hit like a fright train!!

9-10gr/in will hit like a tone of bricks our of a 2010 PSE at 70lbs.

Would a 8-9gr/in with 100gr field points and blazer vanes be too light for a Hoyt AlphaMax 32 with #3 cams set at 62lbs? I haven't chrono the bow yet, but it is projected to be IBO in the 300 range with that set up.

i shoot 29.5 inches 67 pounds hoyt turbohawk (320 ibo) and i shoot an fmj 29inches, with a 100 grain head, i shoot 270fps arrow weighs about 485. 77lbs of k.e. so you would likely be a little higher on both prolly around 280 fps maybe a touch more.

Kevin, how did you figure out that your arrows weigh 485gr? At 11.3gr/in, that is 333.35gr of arrow, plus 100gr head, brings it to 433.35. Do the blazers and nock make up 51.65gr?
