I tend to go with 2117 for most bows between #65 and #75+/-. I'm assuming you mean the bow is #65 @ 28 and you're drawing 29", so if that's the case, the bow will be about #68/69. Also, if you're coming from a recurve of simialr weight, you might loose an inch with a LB, due to the grip.
If you want to see what that puppy can do start checking ebay for some old Bear .316 Magnums arrows - my LBs up to #75 LOVED them.
Just please don't say you're coming from a #65 compound.
