What does it mean when a 1812 or 2112 is given for a arrow diameter? what unit is it? Inch or mm?

1812 means 18/32 diameter and .012" wall thickness. 2112 is 21/32 and .012". The first part of the number is the diameter in 1/32 " and the second part is the wall thickness in thousandths (.001).

Not quite

Sorry bowhuntrrl, that's only partially correct. Outside diameter is in 64th's of an inch, not 32nd's.

Example; can you imagine shooting a 26 series arrow for indoor that was in 32nd's??? That's a little over 3/4's of an inch
