I talked with a gold tip rep and he told me that before cutting his arrows he would check the straightness by putting a insert and point in both ends and spinning the shaft in his palm. He also said you could almost turn an xt into a pro, maybe by cutting one end or both ends of the shaft, not caring where the label landed.

Question I have and I do feel more wobble on one end than the other. If I feel it more in my hand, point in hand, which end would need to be cut?

Try spinning on a hard flat surface, he does it in his hand cuz of experience, which does work, but its easier on glass or wood.

Logic would dictate that you cut off the end with the wobble.
