Hey guys is there a formula to find out arrow wieght if you don't have a scale?? I am shooting CX Maxima's hunters 350 at 28 inchs long with 3 blazer vanes and I am trying to find out how much they wiegh?? Thanks Walt

@285, then add tip weight. FOC should be fine with 100 grains, so @385 built up.

ok your arrows are 8.2 grains per inch at 28" = 229.6
3" blazer vanes are 8.5 grains each 25.5
229.6 + 25.5 = 255.1 now add the point weight and insert weight, inserts weigh between 12- 14 grains depending on which ones you have. the nocks you have are probably the ones that weigh 8.7 grains
255 + 14 + 9 = 278 plus what ever your point weighs and add about 5 grains for glue on the fletchings and insert glue
so if you have a 100 grain point, expect your arrows to weigh about 383 grains
