Set up on a overgrown lane I "mowed" with a machete last weekend; brushed in ok I think. Deer travel in the lane through a thicket and there is a major trail in the thicket crossing about 30 yards in front from right to left. No trees large enough to use for stands, making this the only practical way to hunt it. Lots of tracks. Will probably let it sit until next week before using it, even though the opener is tomorrow.

Yep. Free choice gravity feeder I put a little corn in to try and get the does to settle in after the ruckus. There is at least one big buck in the area and hopefully if the does begin to use the track again the buck will linger until rut brings him out in daylight.
