OK, the title may seem ridiculous, but I was wondering... I have Easton Axis and Gold tip hunters for the job, but these Avalon arrows in my collection survived these years with great hits and groups. They survived even some wall hits with a recurve . What I liked on them is penetration on targets. Much deeper than gold tips, cause they re 4.2 mm. I know, I can buy axis long range, gold tip pierce etc... But I was wondering, can they hunt? Is there a chance on removing the glued tips and install inserts? I would use them with a Samick sage bow.
