I was plowing through some old stuff as a result of the stupid cat getting into an old box and deciding to eat a fish hook - or at least try to - and found my old spool of Dacron B50 from back in the day when I made strings for my old tear drop cable bows.
Is there any compelling reason not to press this into service for things like tying in peeps, drop away cords, etc. on modern strings?
