When shooting a pure bt release do you want the back of your hand flat or in a slight fist when at anchor???Working on form this week and wondered how you all did it

I prefer it to be more flat. I've found that for me, if I use more of a fist type grip, there is more tension in my release hand and arm than there should be and it makes it hard to get the shot to go off.

I'm with Mike. Too much fist will prevent or hinder your ability to relax your arm - which is a must. IMO

I second Mike. A fist creates too much unecessary tension in your hand IMO. Really no way to "fist" without using the small muscles of the hand, which is difficult to repeat and leads to inconsistency. I always find the more smalll muscles I can eliminate . . . .the better.

This is how I used to do mine. Just do what feels more comfortable because then you will be more consistant.
