I was shooting a tru ball bt gold. I could get this release to full draw without any worry of it coming off of the loop. I also shot my fathers longhorn today and could get it back with no mis fire. I just bought a new stan micro iii and even with the travel set waaaaaay deep, i cant seem to get it to full draw consistently without a mis fire. the release feels wonderful in my hand, which is why i want to shoot it, but any ideas as to why it is more difficult for me to draw?

maybe try setting your index finger heavier int he release and the thumb peg. i have one and it feels great in my hands i jst got learn to shoot it

Bury your index finger deep into the finger groove and also use a good bit of presure on your thumb peg and make sure you have the handle rotated forward. also using a smaller size loop material works well for this release.

Kinda gets my thumb a little sore but that does keep it from premature ejectulation of the arrow.:wink:
