Hello all.

I am thinking of getting a back tension release but truthfully, don't understand the concept because i have never seen one in action.

So, does anyone know of an online video that demonstates how they are used?

Also, does anyone use them for hunting?

Also is there a more "user-friendly" version that anyone recommends for a "newbee."

Thanks in advance.

I don't know of any videos that demonstrate how to use a BT release. They are a great way to go, and will definitely improve your scores after some practice with the release. I would recommend a release such as the TRU BALL Sweet Spot II Ultra 4 to start out with, and as a matter of fact, to continue shooting for as long as you shoot a BT Release. It has a safety which has to be disengaged before the release will fire, making it easier to draw for nubies and experienced shooters as well. I would definitely not hunt with one, but that is my own opinion. When I'm hunting, I like to know exactly when that shot will go off. Hope this helps!
