looks like a set screw at the base.

Depends on what cable gaurd you have (roller or bar) on the bar type the metal piece that attaches is slid on and a set screw is locked onto the end of the bar. I don't know how they attach it to a roller but they do have a way.

I have used one since I can't remember, bought from Jim the originator himself and used 1 for every bow I have and just putting a new 1 on my Z7 Extreme.
