ok here is the senario-
bow #1 350 gr arrow at 280 fps
bow # 2 433 gr arrow at 280 fps
what will the difference in trajectory be at 30 , 35 , 40 , 45 yds ??

If the arrow stiffness and other dynamics are the same, yes. There will be a trajectory difference. The heavier arrow will not drop speed as fast thus reducing the time of flight and subsequent trajectory differences will result. Now it isnt really that simple. If you have a heavy fatter arrow that doesnt recover from the shot as fast as a skinny arrow that recovers faster yet is lighter, they may be a wash.

There is more to arrow ballistics than strictly weight and speed.

We tried this out actually shooting through..

my chrono and my 404 gr arrows with the same diameter, and fletches had 8fps gain over my dads 355 gr arrows at 50 yards. John
