Barnett Recruit compound vs Centerpoint Sniper 370?

The Barnett Recruit was my first crossbow back in February 2014. I had a trigger issue that I had to send the stock in to Barnett which they replaced. The factory cables were terrible. Even though Barnett sent replacements, I ordered new string and cables from Core Archery and they are great.

I also was able to get a set of Raptor cams (CNC machined versus cast aluminum) from Barnett and feel more confident with everything. With the addition of a TenPoint SDS system, it's a great little crossbow now.

Having a Barnett Recruit, a Scorpyd Ventilator, and a Mission Dagger - the Dagger is quickly becoming my favorite. Because of the adjustable stock I think the Dagger is a great crossbow for woman too. I'd try to find a good used one for your wife - she'll thank you later! :teeth:

By no means am I in support of the Barnett Recruit, I wouldn't buy one again unless it was for peanuts. I've never seen the Centerpoint but I'd be inclined to go with it anyway!

I've been thinking about a recruit myself. There are some really good deals on factory refurbished barnetts on ebay.
I don't know whether to take you seriously or not?
