I have a moultrie cam that takes the 6-volt lantern battery.

Can i double up the battery for lasting a little longer in the cold months?

I thought about making a little box the could house 2 latern batteries and insulate it a little with longer battery leads to the cam. Can this work?

as long as you go positive to positive and neg to neg it should work fine.
