Bear Attitude question...

I'm new to archery and a few weeks back I bought a new Bear Attitude. I had it fitted and I'm at a 27 inch pull and about 54 lbs of weight.
The specs say that the bow is adjustable from 25 to 32 length and 50-70 lbs of pull. After shooting it for a while now I think I want to have it upped to 60 lbs.
I'm curious about something though. In the future, if I wanted to, could it be adjusted to 65 or 70 lbs as it is or would I need to have different limbs installed? I don't think I would ever go beyond 60 but the option to be able to at some point is intriguing.

Which limbs did you get? I'm asking because I didn't know that Bear was making the Attitude with a 50-70 lb limb. Also, what does it say on your limbs regarding draw weight and what does the sticker say about how many turns you can make on your limb bolts? This can help us help you.

Sorry for the delay in posting up. This is the only sticker on the bow other than the one that says to read the manual or contact Bear before doing any work on the limbs.
I bought this bow brand new at BassPro. The kid at the counter put the bow on a "scale" type thing, (not sure what the actual name is), and pulled down on the bow. I"m guessing this was to measure the draw weight? He said it was about 56 pounds. He also fit my DL as well and I'm at 27. I'm 5'9 in height. All in all I'm happy with the bow Im just curious about the DW and now since I see the sticker says 70 but I'm only pulling 56 how is that possible if the limbs come in 50-60 or 60-70?

Thanks guys!

You have a 70lb bow. We've found that the Attitudes and Authority bows have a larger range than 10lbs. I set up a 60lb Attitude yesterday that peaked at 60.4lbs. I took 4 turns off the limb bolts and it got down to 43.8lbs so I'm not surprised to see that yours started under 60lbs. If you want, your bow can be set to 70 or maybe just a little more depending on the condition of your string and cable.

Hmmm, that's very interesting. Thanks Huntinsker!
As I've mentioned before. I'm a complete n00b when it comes to archery. As it sits now I'm very comfortable with my bows pull, BUT, I can see me wanting to increase it as I practice more and more. My groups are pretty good, IMHO, at about 30yds. There is a local club with some longer range targets that I plan on joining and once I'm doing ok out to about 50 then I may tinker with increasing the pull. We'll see.

Thanks again!:teeth:
