Any ever use one of those Bear Bomb scent spray cans? I buddy of mine gave me a couple of cans of it( I think its bacon scent) to try out at my bait sight.

I have used it but wouldn't again. I use a different scent now. Too many problems with the bomb, I had to climb down several times to get it going again. Google BigBearScents.

I've used one. It was fine. I won't buy it again because it's not worth the money but if you have some cans... go for it. You'll be putting up a lot of scent. which is the intent. I sprayed it on a clean rag (soaked the rag) and hung the rag in a tree. I like hanging a scent ball better. But if you use a scent ball, hang it between trees with a chain or cable or the bears will take it down and eat it.

I plan on hitting the stand all day long this Saturday so I guess I will know soon enough if they work.

I have heard guys have had some luck with the sow in heat bombs. Or anis bombs. I think the food scents are illegal in Oregon since it's a food attractant. They are too spendy imo expecially since you can use real bait in Idaho.

Well its the night before the first time in the stand. Ive got one can of Bear Bomb Im going to set off and replenish the bait barrel with more dog food and a ton of day old pastries (cinnamon rolls etc). Ive got about 6 big bags of cinnamon popcorn popped and mixed with bacon grease and syrup and honey too. Hope this gets one in. My 15yr old daughter will be up in the stand with me hunting with a rifle so Im pretty stoked about that.:thumbs_up ...

Checked the camera and had a hit. I did have the camera too far away( 1st time using one) so I couldnt really get a good picture. The bears coming in at night around 9:45ish. My daughter and I sat in till dark and just watched a nice big grey rabbitt feast on cinnamon rolls and popcorn.

It's a blast to bait bears. What I learned over the years is to use a camera on every bait, I also learned to not even sit a bait unless I had pictures during the day time. I would only bait between 11-1:00 hit the stand a few hours before dark depending on time of picts. Keep us informed love to hear the outcome..
